SMS Broadcast is Amafones product developed as a front end to our SMS gateway, allowing the sending of multiple messages from an easy to use interface.

The interface can be a choice of an online control panel accessed over the internet, or by our own in house developed software package which can be adapted to your exact requirements if required.

The system allows the setup and sending of SMS messages to any number of SMS enabled devices such as mobile phones and terminal devices.

How does it work? The system works on a credit system whereby you purchase credits on your account and each message sent to your mobile counts as one credit. There is an initial one off connection charge for the setup of the account which includes initial credits, and your credit level can be checked online if required, although an alert will be sent when you are running low. Credit top up is fast and easy to avoid downtime.

Do you offer any advance services? We have developed the system with an easy upgrade and options path. We have in-house staff ready to work on custom development pr any additional features which you require - many of which can be produced with a very short turnaround. Upgrade options include the ability to change the Originator field of the messages - this is the part which is normally the Mobile No. of the sender - however because we send direct through an SMSC (service centre) we can control what this reads, including alphanumeric characters and numbers.

How will I know whether the message gets through? We keep a log of all traffic through our server so that we can monitor any failure reports from our clients. This does not mean that we store your messages for viewing, but simply a diagnostic report. All messages are confirmed as being dispatched for delivery.
